A little about us

We are Catkin Ceramics, a small family business born in lockdown. I always fancied the idea of throwing clay and finally had all the time in the world to give it a go.  I fell in love with throwing, and started crafting in every spare second I could find. My wife gave the wheel a try (and frankly hates it), but has found incredible skills and talent in handbuilding some beautiful forms.

We live in Winchester, Hampshire and it's always a busy house. With 5 kids aged between 10 & 24, we have loads of support (mostly) from our motley crew.

Whilst very much beginners, we hope that you like what you see and something takes your fancy. Our pricing is set to the standard of the item and our current skill levels, and each item is described the best we can.

We are almost always open to commissions, so should you just have missed out on something you like the look of, or want something completely out of the box then get in touch. We are happy to discuss your requirements, and do our best to work with all budgets.
